Self-direction gives waiver participants and families greater control over the services they receive, how they receive them, and who provides them.

To assist individuals who choose to self-direct their services, a support broker, fiscal management team, and coordinator of community services must be involved.

CARAFAP provides the following services under Self-Direction:

• Respite Services
